I am not a HUGE Stephen King fan. I'm just not into the scary stuff. But this film is absolutely AMAZING. Over the years I have watched this film numerous times and it just never gets old. I can't begin to imagine what an inmate that has spent the majority of their life behind bars goes through after being released into the world once again. The trials and tribulations have to b huge. This film helps the rest of the world to understand what they go thru. AND I LOVE how Tim Robins gets the cash at the end and Morgan Freeman shows up. Just outstanding. I'm sure. This is one of the films that has helped to push me to be an actor. I just hope I can be half as talented as ALL talent in this film.
